Coming from LA and taking the chance and moving to New York by yourself, I know you had friends, but still. How did you manage to do it? Like I want to leave my town for New York but I just fear of making the move and shit my not work out or something, you know. Did you have those fears, and any advice on moving to New York? Is it what you expected? Is it like people said, the best place to visit but shitty to live in? Thanks ahead of time man.
This could be the most elaborate answer of all time and I remember being in your same exact shoes but there’s a few key points that I always think about when people ask. You will not find an apartment right away and you will need a friend to stay with who can be patient with your lack of knowledge, be patient and don’t just think that living in New York is living where the gossip girl cast reside. You will be discouraged and wonder if you made the right choice for a while at first, but if you have any hope in yourself and your ambition it is the most beautiful and fulfilling thing you can do for yourself.
